Day 1: Sunday, January 24 – Departing for Sunny Florida! Today you’ll get acquainted with your fellow tour members while traveling through Minnesota and into Iowa. Noon meal will be included and tonight we will stay in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. (L)

Day 2: Monday, January 25 – Visit the St. Louis Arch!  This morning we travel south into the “Show Me State” of Missouri. Noon lunch is included before visiting the St. Louis Gateway Memorial. The Arch was built along the Mississippi River to represent the “Gateway to the West.” You’ll have a choice of taking the tram to the top or seeing one of the videos at the IMAX Theater. Everyone will have time to visit the museum and gift shop. Late afternoon we check into our hotel in Paducah, KY. (B) (L)

Day 3: Tuesday, January 26 – Tour the Tennessee Aquarium!  Our scenery will begin to change as our coach winds through the Cumberland Foothills of Tennessee. Mid-afternoon we visit the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. This is said to be the world’s largest freshwater aquarium as it contains more than 9,000 animals and re-creations of their habitats. Then we continue to Marietta, Georgia to our hotel. (B)

Day 4: Wednesday, January 27 – Welcome to Florida!  A noon meal is an included buffet at the Ole’ Times Country Buffet in Valdosta, GA. Then we arrive in Florida (the Sunshine State). After driving past farming country, green pastures enclosed in white fences, herds of cattle and horses, we arrive to the busy city of Orlando. Late afternoon we arrive at our accommodations and unpack for a three night stay. (B) (L)

Day 5: Thursday, January 28 – All day at Sea World!  Just a short drive from our hotel is Sea World Orlando! After a good night’s rest, we put on our sunglasses and walking shoes to enjoy a day at Sea World! There are many sea-themed shows where you can get up close and personal with marine life. This evening we will enjoy the horses, stunts and wild west acts of the Arabian Nights dinner show. (B) (D)

Day 6: Friday, January 29 – Tour Kennedy Space Center!  Today we explore space at the Kennedy Space Center. This is the launch and landing site for the space shuttle. On a bus tour of their facility you’ll see their displays including two launch pads and one of the world’s longest runways. After lunch (on own) you may watch IMAX films on the space program. Late afternoon we return to our accommodations for a free evening. (B)

Day 7: Saturday, January 30 – Visit Thomas Edison’s Winter Home!  We say goodbye to central Florida and travel to Fort Myers to visit Edison-Ford Winter Estates. These men are known as two of America’s most famous early 20th-century industrialists. Their homes are on display along with many personal items of both men. This afternoon, our tour takes us across the Big Cypress National Preserve, through Alligator Alley, to our hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. (B)

Day 8: Sunday, January 31 – Cruising in Ft. Lauderdale!  With a little later start this morning, we take a short ride to the coastline of Fort Lauderdale and board the Jungle Queen Riverboat for a cruise. Everyone will be amazed as they see first hand the huge homes and yachts along the largest canal system in the United States. This afternoon, we drive over 42 bridges that make up the Keys of Florida and unpack for a two-night stay at the Comfort Inn – Key West! (B)

Day 9: Monday, February 1 – Sight seeing in Key West!  Key West is a town like no other! You’ll see and learn about the easy laid back lifestyle through a sightseeing tour of Key West on the Old Town Trolley. After lunch you’ll view sea life in a glass bottom boat. Then there is free time to visit the many gift shops and restaurants before observing the crazy antics of the people at the Sunset Celebration. Late afternoon we return to our accommodations. (B)

Day 10: Tuesday, February 2 – Return to the Orlando Area! After a relaxed stay in Key West, our route returns to the mainland over the same 42 bridges, traveling back to the Orlando area. We check into a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, the Holiday Inn Express, for a three-night stay. (B) (L)

Day 11: Wednesday, February 3 – A full day at WDW!  The next two days everyone will have one day passes to visit which ever WDW Theme Park you would like. You can visit Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM, or Animal Kingdom. Rustad Tours will provide transportation and our hotel also has free transportation to all the theme parks. (B)

Day 12: Thursday, February 4 – Another full day at WDWOur last day in Florida and you will have the full day to enjoy another Walt Disney World Theme Park. Again you may use our coach or the hotel’s transportation to visit whichever theme park you desire. I’m sure you’ll spend your evening packing all your souvenirs! (B)

Day 13: Friday, February 5 – It’s been a Great Time in Florida!  After getting our suitcases under the motor coach we settle back to rest after busy days in Florida. Beginning our journey north we stop for an included lunch at the Flying J Restaurant in Tallahassee. Entering Alabama, we make a quick stop for pecans, then travel to Montgomery and check into the Drury Inn. (B) (L)

Day 14: Saturday, February 6 – Attend the Grand Ole Opry!  From Montgomery, I-65 brings us to Nashville, Tennessee. Besides being the Capital of Tennessee it is the Music Capital of the nation. Get ready for a good ole hand clappin’ foot stompin’ hoe down at the Grand Ole Opry! This is the longest running continuous radio show; you’re sure to hear some of the old favorites as well as talented new comers. (B)

Day 15: Sunday, February 7 – View Downtown Chicago!  Today our travels will take us through the rolling countryside of Tennessee, Kentucky, and the farmlands of Indiana, through downtown Chicago to Schaumburg and to the Drury Inn. (B) (L)

Day 16: Monday, February 8 – Welcome back to Kerkhoven!  We are homeward bound today and will spend much of the time reminiscing about the GREAT TIME we have had on our Florida Circle Tour! We will stop for an included lunch at the Norske Nook in Osseo, WI. Early evening our coach returns to Kerkhoven after spending eight nights in sunny Florida! (B) (L)
